Great story. It sounds like you went through a similar transformation as Paul, throwing stones at Christians, turned to loving them. isn’t that weird? The scales fell from our eyes… Soren Kierkegaard said something like “the difficulty in former times was that no one was a christian, the difficulty was in becoming a Christian. Now, everyone is a Christian and the difficult part in becoming a Christian is that one must cease to be Christian.” … Bonhoeffer in his prison letters too (April 30-Aug. 3 1944)
